Jaguar E-Type V12 Convertible
One of the greatest cars ever made, and probably the most recognisable classic in the world. There is even an example in the New York, Museum of Modern Art.
The Jaguar E-Type is without doubt one of the landmarks in sports car history.
William Lyons lithe styling turns heads today as surely as it did when the car was first launched in 1961. The performance was always stunning from all variants and the Series 3 being the first application of Jaguar's majestic V12 power unit is no exception, with over 270 remarkably smooth horsepower, and a whopping 304 lbs ft of torque on tap to propel this E Type to claimed maximum (non-recommended) speeds of up to 150 mph.
Many car manufacturers - including Jaguar - have tried subsequently to recreate the special blend of sensations offered by the E-type, but have never matched the pure thrill of the original. Our car is available with a 5.3 litre V12 engine fitted with carburettors, manual gearbox and power steering, white coachwork with black leather interior, and is an extremely stylish and relaxed open-air sports Grand Tourer.
